About Us

Hello and welcome to EYE HEART TEETH!

So you're probably wondering, who are these people? And why are they trying to give me advice about my pre-health endeavors?

We'll start off by saying we're not professional advisers, or anything of that sort. We're just three roommates going through the process of applying to medical/dental/optometry school, who want to share our experiences with you. We understand the uphill battle of pre-health life, and we're hoping that we can pass on a couple bits of wisdom that we've gained over our years at UC Berkeley.

Here's a little bit about us:

EYE

I'm Annie, your "eyes" through the world of pre-opto! I may be small but I have a BIG personality! I typically speak at a volume of 80 decibels, meaning my db:height ratio is 1.33333, significantly larger than the average person. When I'm not talking, I enjoy organizing my pen collection, sanitizing things, and suppressing my burps.

HEART

Hi I'm Kathleen, future doctor! I majored in bioengineering and therefore know a little about a lot. Some cool things I did in college include catching hummingbirds, being the shortest rower on the club crew team, and transforming from a coffee hater to a serious coffee addict. Currently, I am considering auditioning for MTV's True Life: My Roommate Doesn't Know How to Use a Thermos.

TEETH

I'm Rachel, and I'm the pre-dent! I majored in molecular and cell biology in college, and spent most of my days singing in acapella groups (I know the doo-bops and jum jum's to over 200 songs), making Annie and Kathleen try my baked noms, working in lab, running, and co-founding a pen club (with none other than.. you guessed it! Annie and Kathleen).
